What’s notable about this CD by Karunesh is its inherent high quality. The recording production is good, the composition balanced, the melodies understated and with a simplicity that is neither hackneyed nor cheesy. Plus, generally speaking, I prefer new age makeovers of the subtle, sensuous and sophisticated soundscape of the Indian sub-continent more than those of ethnic America, Africa or Australia.
